LAB 1 is an initiative of RE.AL – REsposta ALternativa, in collaboration with AMASCULTURA, and is part of RE.AL’s ongoing objectives of cultural intervention. We believe that there can only be evolution, learning, and communication through experimenting with error, the discussion of ideas and experiences, and the constant flow of information. LAB 1 aims to be the space where the idea takes precedence over form, where the reason and the context that determine an artistic action are deemed more important than its definition or labelling. This is the reason for the existence of LABORATORIES.
