Teatro da Voz
Teatro da Voz, formerly Teatro da Graça, is a workspace for artists and training for the community, rehabilitated for this purpose in 2013, following a cooperation protocol established between the primary/basic school A Voz do Operário (which is adjacent to Teatro da Voz’s building), EIRA and Real Pelágio Produções.

This unusual alliance, continually renewed, has allowed for the reactivation of a vacant yet historic Lisbon theatre, having henceforth supported the creative processes of various artists and associations over the years, and having at the same time sparked local and regional educational communities’ interest, generating partnerships with a strong impact on children’s learning and general development throughout their various stages of growth and discovery.
Through Teatro da Voz’s entrance door, you access the hall/playroom, a large multipurpose workspace, the old control room, two small rooms, a kitchen and toilet area, and an archive/storage room. From the hall, you can access the basement through stairs, where there is a storage space, the studio of resident musician Simão Costa, a rehearsal studio – equipped with linoleum flooring, a sound/light-mixing console, and a video projector – and a dressing room with two bathrooms. From the rehearsal studio, you access the covered patio and the From Letter to Voice Reading Club (Clube de Leitura Da Letra à Voz).
