The choreographer premieres, at Teatro Viriato, a solo piece that contains a retrospective look while simultaneously proposing a prospective one, drawing new lines of artistic research. To this end, artistic residencies were undertaken on three continents: Europe, America, and Africa.
The memory associated with travel is invoked as the origin of certain physical states and detailed movement. Sailors, navigators, and pirates are figures that inspire the construction framework of this solo’s character, whose states oscillate between fascination and desolation, exhaustion and inner strength. *
