Edina
Commissioned by António Pinto Ribeiro and premiered in January 1994 at Culturgest, in Lisbon, Edina was part of the program “O que pode um corpo?” ("What can a body do?"), whose proposals stemmed from a reflection on "what can dance do in the face of these war images" coming from Bosnia, particularly Sarajevo.*
