Recorded live at the iconic Hot Clube de Portugal in January 1992 and released that year by Miso Records, this is Sérgio Pelágio's discographic debut, a vibrant record that brings together original compositions from his former project IDEFIX and the musicians who collaborated with him.

With the release of his first record scheduled for June 10th, guitarist and composer Sérgio Pelágio is currently touring abroad.
Following concerts in Salamanca on May 7th, 8th, and 9th, and in Santiago de Compostela on May 11th, 12th, and 13th, followed by concerts in Ireland with his trio, formed by drummer Guillermo McGuill and bassist Ronan Guifoyle, Sérgio Pelágio will be in Macau until June 1st to participate in the Macau Jazz Festival and to conduct a series of workshops.
Sérgio Pelágio was born in Lisbon in 1965, having started to play guitar at the age of 12. While still very young, he was a student at the Hot Clube de Portugal Jazz School, while joining several jazz bands, having also participated in workshops with prominent figures in improvised music such as Gary Burton, Joe Henderson, Billy Hart, Buster Williams, Nana Vasconcelos, Karl Berger, Mike Richmond, Jerry Bergonzy, John Nusbaum, Jim McNelly, Hal Garper, among others.
In 1984, he moved to New York where he worked with the famous guitarist John Abercrombie, also joining bands in the New York scene.
Back in Portugal, in 1987, he took over the direction of the Hot Clube de Portugal Jazz School, a position he held until the end of 1990.
During this period, he also led several courses in Portugal and abroad, notably the seminars at «Estúdio-Escola de Música» in Santiago de Compostela and at the «New Park Music Centre» in Dublin.
