Jacarandá
a show by Adriana Melo and Magnum Soares
Sap is blood, a vital liquid that flows through nature’s veins, carrying water and nutrients into bodies of different sizes, thicknesses, and colours, all of which coming from various places. Sap is the blood that triggers the growth of trees. We know that trees represent a rich source of the world’s oxygen production; however, the unknown remains vast.

Jacarandá dives into the unknown, where infinity unfolds. It is a puppet theatre and animated forms show that seeks to explore nature’s hidden and mysterious universe. It reveals the colours, the rhythm, and the botanical mastery in which many beings inhabit. What we do not yet know is infinite.
This sensorial and intimate work, without resorting to words, is a solo by the dancer and puppeteer Magnum Soares.
